The theme for this year's fast is Letters From Heaven. Pastor Gilbert has invited us to participate in a church-wide fast beginning on January 14, 2018 and ending on February 25, 2018. The fast is accompanied by a special, sermon series entitled “Letters from Heaven,” that will come from Pastor Gilbert and other NCC pastors. Additionally, a Bible reading plan will accompany the series. You can access it at the end of this page.
Fasts are different for everyone, so each one will choose their own type of fast. To participate fully, think about one specific thing you would like to give-up during the entire period, listen to each message in the series, follow the Bible reading plan, and engage in some type of food fast. Choose a food fast that works best for you. You can download a short document below on different types of food fasts and read about things to consider when altering your eating plan, such as health conditions. If you have health conditions, be sure to consult with your physician before making changes to your diet.
At the end of the fasting period, both campuses will meet at the Fairburn Campus for a night of worship, testimonies, and water baptisms.

This plan is presented in a weekly reading format, which allows you to set your own daily reading schedule. This is your plan, so you can read ahead or catch up on busy weeks. The focus of this plan correlates to Pastor Gilbert's sermons series on the 7 churches in Revelation chapters 2 and 3.

This is an area to describe the details of the event. Or you could have any information in here really, it just doesn't matter all that much. But the real test of an area like this is how much text it can actually hold. I mean, surely there must be limits. Right? Well if there are we sould probably display a Link Style.
